| Itinerary
Day 1 : Firstly we visit The
Topkapı Palace after
the departure from your hotel, in the palace we will see the
kitchens in where the second largest porcelain collection of the
world is exhibited , then Council Hall,Treasury,Pavillions……Your
guide will help you to have a lunch in your trip…Then we will
see the Hagia Sophia
which was the largest church in its era when it was built in 537
A .D under the reign of Justinian….On the opposite side of its
location where we will discover the
Blue Mosque with its beautiful İznik tiles .And
we come to Hippodrome
to remember the history of the emperor Theodosius and see the
Obelisk from Egypt, the Serpentine Column from Greece, Byzantine
column and Wilhemn Kaiser Fountain…. Then our last visit is
Grand Bazaar where
you can see many jewellery ,silver, leather , kilim shops…
Day 2 :
This morning after breakfast you will check-out and transfer to
Istanbul Airport where you will board your flight to Kayseri for
Cappadocia. Upon
arrival, meet with your local guide and start to discover the
wonders of Cappadocia. Then we will arrive in
Uçhisar, the highest
point of the region where you can see all different valleys ,
rock dwelling houses, wineyards and the pigeonaries on the
landscape..After our castle visit , we walk in the
village which is
really so rich with the volcanic houses…then we will have our
lunch in a nice place…After that, wego to visit the
Göreme Open Air Museum
where we will see the beautiful frescoes dating back to 4-13.
century A.D. On the way we can stop in a carpetweaving
rug palace to learn
the history of Turkish carpets from a local lecturer in
Cappadocia region…Then we can go to see the sunset on the
panoramic view point depending on the weather conditions…
Day 3 :
This morning after breakfast you will check out and transfer to
Kayseri Airport where you will board your flight to Izmir. Upon
arrival, you will meet with your local guide and transfer to
Kusadasi.Visit the Ancienty city of
Ephesus by learning the history and the
importance of the historical monuments including library of
Celcus, the Agora, Trojan Fountain, Hadrian's Gate, Domitianus
Temple, Theater.. Next, visit the house of
Virgin Mary, where she spent the last years
of her life. After lunch, take a short walk in the village of
Sirince, where you
can see the wooden houses, a lovely green nature and taste some
local wine. Finally see the church
of St. John whose burial chamber i laid inside
located on a hill overlooking the Artemis temple, the Isa Bey
Mosque and the Aegean sea in further.
Drop off to hotel.
