Itinerary
Day 1 :
Firstly we visit The Topkapı Palace
after the departure from your hotel, in the palace we will see
the kitchens in where the second largest porcelain collection of
the world is exhibited , then Council Hall,Treasury,Pavillions……Your
guide will help you to have a lunch in your trip…Then we will
see the Hagia Sophia which
was the largest church in its era when it was built in 537 A .D
under the reign of Justinian….On the opposite side of its
location where we will discover the
Blue Mosque with its beautiful İznik tiles .And we
come to Hippodrome to remember the history of the emperor
Theodosius and see the Obelisk from Egypt, the Serpentine Column
from Greece, Byzantine column and Wilhemn Kaiser Fountain…. Then
our last visit is Grand Bazaar
where you can see many jewellery ,silver, leather , kilim shops…
Day 2 :
On the way we will see the ancient city walls then we will see
The Saint Saviour- Chora Church
which is covered with the entricate golden mosaics inspired from
the Bible and the life of Virgin Mary, Jesus…Then we drive to
see the Eyüp Mosque and
witness the religious life and their ritual visits to tomb of
beloved friend of Prophet Muhammed, then we climb up to hill to
have a beautiful view over the Golden
Horn in Pierre Loti Cafe.. After your lunch we drive
to the Patriarch Of Orthodox
Christianity and see the ancient restored church with
the wooden building ..Then we go to see the life of İstanbul
citizens in Taksim… We
guarantee that you will gain different perspectives of the life
of this fabulous city throughout the day..
Day 3 :
The Bosphorus Cruise is one of the higlights of the city ..You
have 2 options here, you want to sail on a
local boat or with a
yacht… Then we start sailing on the blue Marmara watersea while
we are watching the wooden houses called “yalı” on the Bosphorus
river..After our sail, we arrive in Sarıyer fish restaurants
where we have lunch near the river close to Black Sea..We join
with our driver here to go to Asian side to climb to the highest
point called “Çamlıca Hill” and we drive to Kanlıca known with
its famous” yoghurt” where can taste here in a cafe then we go
across the Bosphorus Bridge to arrive in
Ortaköy to join with
the local people under the bridge , maybe to immortalize the
moment with the picture of city’s lovely silhouette “Ortaköy
Mosque”…
Day 4 :
This morning after breakfast you will check-out and transfer to
Istanbul Airport where you will board your flight to Kayseri for
Cappadocia. Upon arrival, meet with your local guide and start
to discover the wonders of Cappadocia. Then we will arrive in
Uçhisar, the highest point of the region where you can see all
different valleys , rock dwelling houses, wineyards and the
pigeonaries on the landscape..After our castle visit , we walk
in the village which is really so rich with the volcanic houses…then
we will have our lunch in a nice place…After that, wego to visit
the Göreme Open Air Museum where we will see the beautiful
frescoes dating back to 4-13. century A.D. On the way we can
stop in a carpetweaving rug palace to learn the history of
Turkish carpets from a local lecturer in Cappadocia region…Then
we can go to see the sunset on the panoramic view point
depending on the weather conditions…
Day 5 :
Today firstly we go to see the undegroundcity of Kaymaklı or
Derinkuyu on the south part of the region ..after one hour drive
we arrive in Ihlara Valley where many kinds of flowers ,types of
birds, a branch of the longest river in turkey and frescoed
churches will meet you ..Upon your request, we are ready to hike
about 2 hours in the valley and visit some frescoed churches
inside…Then we will have our lunch in the mid-valley near the
Melendiz River…. hope you enjoy eating the throut caught from
the river.. On the way back to our hotel we will stop at the end
of the valley with our car, we can take pictures of the fairy
chimneys which can remind you the “Sandy People” from
“StarWars”movie in 1970….Our last stop is
Agzikarahan
Ceravansarai which is known as the palace of commercant tribes
in the history…
Day 6 :
After our breakfast we go to Zelve Open
Air Museum where the monastery ,ancient mill,
churches, hidden tunels are found..We go to
Avanos to see the
demonstration of the pottery made with red or white clay which
is really so spectucalar…The clays are obtained from the beds of
the longest river “Red River” which we will see on our way…Then
we have our lunch in a typical food restaurant…We drive to
Soğanlı Valley which is stil
keeping its wild nature and seems isolated from any modern
utilities in its misterious shape..We will walk along the valley
or drive by car in order to see some churches and see the real
village life and the handmade dolls sold by villagers…
Day 7 :
This morning after breakfast you will check out and transfer to
Kayseri Airport where you will board your flight to Izmir. Upon
arrival, you will meet with your local guide and transfer to
Kusadasi. Visit the Ancienty city of
Ephesus by learning the history and the importance of
the historical monuments including library of Celcus, the Agora,
Trojan Fountain, Hadrian's Gate, Domitianus Temple, Theater..
Next, visit the house of Virgin Mary,
where she spent the last years of her life. After lunch, take a
short walk in the village of Sirince,
where you can see the wooden houses, a lovely green nature and
taste some local wine. Finally see the
church of St. John whose burial chamber i laid inside
located on a hill overlooking the Artemis temple, the Isa Bey
Mosque and the Aegean sea in further.
Drop off to hotel.
