Itinerary
Day 1 :
Firstly we visit The Topkapı Palace after the departure from
your hotel, in the palace we will see the kitchens in where the
second largest porcelain collection of the world is exhibited ,
then Council Hall,Treasury,Pavillions……Your guide will help you
to have a lunch in your trip…Then we will see the
Hagia Sophia
which was the largest church in its era when it was built in 537
A .D under the reign of Justinian….On the opposite side of its
location where we will discover the Blue Mosque with its
beautiful İznik tiles .And we come to
Hippodrome to remember the
history of the emperor Theodosius and see the Obelisk from Egypt,
the Serpentine Column from Greece, Byzantine column and Wilhemn
Kaiser Fountain…. Then our last visit is
Grand Bazaar where you
can see many jewellery ,silver, leather , kilim shops…
Day 2 :
On the way we will see the ancient city walls then we will see
The Saint Saviour- Chora Church which is covered with the
entricate golden mosaics inspired from the Bible and the life of
Virgin Mary, Jesus…Then we drive to see the
Eyüp Mosque and
witness the religious life and their ritual visits to tomb of
beloved friend of Prophet Muhammed, then we climb up to hill to
have a beautiful view over the Golden Horn in Pierre Loti Cafe..
After your lunch we drive to the Patriarch Of Orthodox
Christianity and see the ancient restored church with the wooden
building ..Then we go to see the life of İstanbul citizens in
Taksim… We guarantee that you will gain different perspectives of
the life of this fabulous city throughout the day..
Day 3 :
The Bosphorus Cruise is one of the higlights of the city ..You
have 2 options here, you want to sail on a
local boat or with a
yacht… Then we start sailing on the blue Marmara watersea while
we are watching the wooden houses called “yalı” on the Bosphorus
river..After our sail, we arrive in Sarıyer fish restaurants
where we have lunch near the river close to Black Sea..We join
with our driver here to go to Asian side to climb to the highest
point called “Çamlıca Hill” and we drive to Kanlıca known with
its famous” yoghurt” where can taste here in a cafe then we go
across the Bosphorus Bridge to arrive in
Ortaköy to join with
the local people under the bridge , maybe to immortalize the
moment with the picture of city’s lovely silhouette “Ortaköy
Mosque”…
Day 4 :
We go to see the mosque called “Suleyman Magnicient” with its
burial chamber with his wife, Roxelana.Then we drive
Galata
Tower (Tower of Jesus) built by Genoese in 4 century A.D. in
Jewish district.We will go to the museum of
Turkish Jewish
Museum and a synagogue open to the visitors …after climbing up
the stairs of Kamondo we walk in Beyoğlu to see the todays
largest of the Catholic churh “Saint Antoıne” in the city…After
our lunch we go to see Dolmabahçe Palace built in 1856 adorned
with lovely paintings , hand woven carpets, 6 tones of
chalendrier and Bohemian crystals in its large halls where it
hosts many presidents from all over the world.
Day 5 :
This morning after breakfast you will check out and transfer to
Istanbul Airport where you will board your flight to Izmir. Upon
arrival, you will meet with your local guide and transfer to
Kusadasi. Then we check in our hotel then after a reposing time
we go to have lunch after we go to Selçuk ,14 miles away from
Kusadası.Then we walk in the streets of this local village and
visit IsaBey mosque which is located next to the
St. John Church… Then
we go to visit the St. John Church in where the burial chamber
of him is kept under the marble here..Also you can see baptism
section the treasury section with the frecoes bearing the
drawings of Virgin Mary.From the front courtyard of the churh ,you
can see the Artemis Temple recognized as one of the seven
wonders of the world and you can sightsee the nature and
understand the landscape from your location. Then we come back
to our hotel..
Day 6 :
After our breakfast we drive to the museum of Ephesus where we
will see the Celcius Library, the temple of Domitian , Hadrian,
25 000 seated Great theater,gymnasium, the church of Virgin Mary
where the third Ecumenical Council met in 431…We drive to
House
of Virgin Mary where she spent the last days of her life on Mt.
Pion.and the house was visited by Pope Paul VI, Pope John Paul
II in 1967 and 1979 respectively.. Then we drive to a lovely
village where the people are making thier local wines with the
various flavours, and we have our lunch in a typical restaurant
while we are watching the nature …. After our lunch we go to see
the ancient temple of Artemis
Drop off to hotel.
